Batman, Lieutenant Gordon, and District Attorney Harvey Dent form an alliance to dismantle organized crime in Gotham City. However, their plans are thrown into chaos when a criminal mastermind known as The Joker emerges, unleashing anarchy and pushing Batman to his moral and psychological limits.
