The story follows a group of five young friends who embark on a small private plane trip piloted by rookie pilot Sara (played by Jessica Lowndes). Shortly after takeoff, the plane climbs uncontrollably into the sky due to a mysterious malfunction, and the group finds themselves trapped in a never-ending ascent into a dark, stormy sky.

As tension rises among the group, strange supernatural occurrences begin to unfold, including the appearance of a monstrous, tentacled creature in the clouds. The lines between reality and hallucination blur as Sara tries to regain control and discover the truth behind their surreal and dangerous situation.
