The film continues Frodo and Sam’s perilous journey to Mount Doom, guided by Gollum, to destroy the One Ring. Meanwhile, Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and others prepare for the final battle against Sauron’s forces. Aragorn must embrace his destiny as the true king of Gondor to unite men against Mordor.

The story builds to the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, the siege of Minas Tirith, and finally, the destruction of the One Ring in Mount Doom.
