A young American tourist goes missing while backpacking in a remote Polish village. Journalist Carmen Reed (Cindy Sampson), her photographer boyfriend Marcus (Aaron Ashmore), and intern Sara travel to the village of Alvania to investigate.

They encounter hostile locals and a strange, permanently fixed fog in the forest that conceals a mysterious stone shrine.
