April Delongpre (Sherilyn Fenn) is a beautiful young Southern debutante from a wealthy, traditional family. Engaged to a respectable man, she returns home to prepare for her upcoming society wedding. But her world is turned upside down when she meets Perry (Richard Tyson), a rugged, passionate carnival worker.
